if you are travelling with your wife and a 6 month’s old son, then you need lodge 3 separate application

since you are going to stay with them so they need to prove that they are capable of sponsoring your stay, you need to
attach their bank statement, property rental doc if available.

Which Stream To Select?

If you wish to get multiple entry visa, you must select “Tourist stream (tourism/visit family or friends)”.
Selecting other type may result “No Further Stay” 8503 condition.

What is 8503 Condition?

If since last entering Australia you have held a visa that has a “no further stay” condition imposed on it then you are not able to make an application for a substantive visa other than a protection visa.

Step 2: Gather Required Documents

Documentations

To support your claim that you can sponsor your and your family’s trip to Australia, you will need to submit these docs

  • Property Valuation Certificate: To show that you and your family have a strong foundation in your home country,
    you need to show substantial property worth more than 1 crore (USD 100,000). You can goto any engineering consultancy and ask

  • Your Bank Statement: Get 1 year bank statement from your bank, ask them to put stamp and signature on each page. Notarize each page and attach.

  • Your Balance Certificate: Good to get this from your bank if you have multiple accounts in the same bank.

  • Share Certificate: Goto your DP provider and ask them to valuate your D-Mat account. They will charge you about Rs. 100 per company.

  • Car Ownership Bluebook: Translate Bluebook of your car/bike to english from any of the notary public and attach it

  • Your Relative’s Bank statement in Australia: Ask them to send statement of last 3 months.

  • Booked Flight Tickets: You do not need to buy tickets, just book the flight(inbound & outbound/return) and get the itinerary from travel agency.
  • A SOP Letter: Write a letter to Australian High Commission about why you want to go to australia. Which places will you visit. Family Register

You need to attach docs like below to let them know who is in your family.

  • Passport of Every Member in Your family: Your family in Nepal and also family in Australia
  • Marriage certificate: Your marriage certificate
  • Birth Certificates: Need to attach birth certificates of all of your kids

Invitation From Family

You need to attach invitation letter from any of the family member in Australia. They need to mention the following in the letter

  • Why they want to invite you
  • What you guys are planning
  • Mention that you can support their stay financially and mention some details like I work here and I earn this much. I have rental propery and get monthly rent of this amount.
  • At the end of letter, should mention their address and phonenumber in Australia, because High Commission might want to contact them.

  • Birth Certificate of Yours
  • Driver’s License

Travel Docs

Attach the applicant’s passport. Get color-photo copies of essential pages(mostly first page and last page in MRP and First page only in E-Passport) and get it notarized.

Step 3: Create an ImmiAccount

Visit the official website of the Australian Department of Home Affairs and create an ImmiAccount. You will use this account to complete your online visa application.

– Frequently press “Save” button so that details you fill are not lost

– Click ‘?’ button near every field to learn more

– Once a doc is attached, you cannot see/preview the doc. But you can remove multiple times and attach again.

Step 5: Pay the Visa Fee

After completing the application form, you’ll need to pay the visa application fee online. Payment methods and fee amounts can be found on the Department of Home Affairs website. Keep the payment receipt as proof of payment.

Step 6: Attend Biometrics and Health Checks (if required)

You will need to book an appointment from VFS Global’s Website(https://visa.vfsglobal.com/npl/en/aus/). Make sure you are in australia’s webpage.
When you book an appointment you need to book a date more than 2 days later. Because, VFS does not accept cash and only
accepts payments in the form of Manager’s check(Demand Draft) NPR 3787 /- per person. They only accept demand draft of 1 day earlier.

“b. The demand draft must be made at least 1 day prior to the appointment date. Applicants visiting without the demand draft will not
be accepted and will have to book a new appointment.”

Medical Exam

Depending on your individual circumstances, you may be asked to attend biometrics collection or health checks. These requirements will be communicated to you during the application process.

Normally if you are asking Visa for more than 3 months, then you will be asked to take medical exams which is very costly.
As of Aug 2023, Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Norvic, IOM and TMC are authorized.
Norvic is the most cheapest option among them but, easiest and hassle free is Nepal Mediciti Hospital which is also cheaper.
